Okay, so what can you say about Squaw Valley, home of the 1960 Winter Olympic Games? I thought it was big when I hiked it during the summer. On Friday I skied about two-thirds of the place. I couldn't get to the north end of the area because the wind was so strong! The weather front had dumped about a foot of new snow the previous night. It was great.
